LSD-Like Drug: Teen Girls Hospitalized on 25i Trip

Also known as 'N-bomb,' emerging party drug worries Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Three teen girls were hospitalized recently after erratic behavior that may have been drug related, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office notes that the drug 25i has been linked to several medical emergencies in Loudoun County in the last month.

Also referred to as “LSD”, “smiles” or “N-bomb”, the drug mimics the appearance of LSD as it is distributed in small squares of blotter paper. The drug can also be ingested in powder form or injected, according to a Sheriff's Office release.

Last week, officers responded to a home in the Landsowne area regarding three teenage girls acting disorderly. One of the girls was yelling incoherently and began kicking deputies. Two other girls found in the home were also acting erratically. It is believed that the three had taken 25i.

They were all taken to an area hospital, and one of the teens was later taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital for further treatment. All have since been released, according to the Sheriff's Office.

“25i can be dangerous, even at small dosages,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman. “This drug can cause violent behavior, disorientation, seizures and death,” added Sheriff Chapman.
