One person has died from the result of a double shooting on the 1200 block of E. Kennedy Road in Sterling.
The incident was isolated to one home and left a second victim in critical condition, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The weapons and people involved have been accounted for, and there is no continuing danger to the public, according to the report.
Investigators were on the scene at some point before 11 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office has withheld the names of those involved until more information can be obtained and their relatives notified.
