Police: Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Sterling

Victim's injuries considered non-life-threatening, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A man is facing charges after a female victim arrived at an area emergency room with stab wounds, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Chad D. Ellerbe, 25, of Sterling is charged with aggravated malicious wounding. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

At 2:55 a.m. Sunday morning, officers were called to the emergency room at Inova Loudoun Hospital at Lansdowne. A female victim reportedly had stab wounds that were non-life-threatening.

The suspect was known to the victim, according to deputies. Ellerbe was taken into custody in the 800 block of Norther Vernon Street in Sterling.
