Armed Robber in Bathrobe Wants Cash, Settles for Pizza

Late-night incident in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies are investigating a robbery report with a unique suspect description: he was wearing a bathrobe.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office responded to the report just after midnight Tuesday morning in the 43800 block of Chloe Terrace in Ashburn.

The victim, a pizza deliveryman, told police that he was making a delivery in the area when he was approached by an unknown man.

The man struck up a conversation and then pulled out a gun and demanded money, according to an LCSO release.

The victim told the suspect that he wasn't carrying cash, so the suspect grabbed the pizza and fled.

And the limited suspect description notes he was black, 6' tall, wearing a bathrobe.

We'll be anxiously awaiting the police sketch.
