Robbery/Abduction Near Oakgrove Road in Sterling

A man was reportedly abducted Tuesday and forced into his home where suspects took several items in what is believed to be a drug-related incident, according to officials.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery and abduction incident that occurred Tuesday, June 24 in the Oakgrove Road area of Sterling.

A 27-year-old man was reportedly approached by a van when a known acquaintance exited the vehicle and brandished a firearm. The suspect forced the victim into the vehicle and a second suspect drove the victim to his home.

The suspects forced the victim into his home and took several items. The incident appears to be drug-related, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The incident occurred at 6:45 p.m. at the 45900 block of Iron Oak Terrace in Sterling.
