Sedan Sought in Ashburn Hit and Run

A Luray man working along Ashburn Farm Parkway was struck Tuesday.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s investigators are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run accident involving a lawn care worker around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, near the intersection of Claiborne Parkway and Ashburn Farm Parkway.

The 22-year-old victim, of Luray, Va., was in the grassy area along the north side of Ashburn Farm Parkway just east of Claiborne when an older model, black four-door sedan traveling west on Ashburn Farm, struck him, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle did not stop. It may have minor damage on the passenger side and/or the hood.

The victim received minor injuries. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle, or the identity of the driver, is asked to contact Deputy D. Lake at 703-737-8307.
