Update of Local Incidents in Ashburn and Surrounding Areas

Eastern Loudoun Station

Indecent Exposure: A female reported a male exposing himself on the 45400 block of Dulles Crossing Place at 2:20pm on Oct. 28. Upon arriving at the scene, police located a man matching the victim's description. Troy R. Taylor was charged with indecent exposure.

Larceny: A cell phone charger and EZ pass was reported taken from a vehicle on the 45500 block of Baggett Terrace between 6:00am and 6:00pm Oct. 28. The vehicle had been left unlocked.

Destruction of Property: A window was damaged on the 46600 block of Sugarland Road between midnight and 7:09pm Oct.29.

Destruction of Property: The paint on a vehicle was reported damaged on the corner of Eaglewood Court and Falcon Place between 3:00am Oct. 28 and 12:01am Oct. 29.

Larceny: A VHS player was reported taken from a vehicle on the 600 block of East Charlotte Street between 8:00pm Oct. 30 and 10:15am Oct. 31. The VHS player was recovered in the neighbor's yard.

Property Damage: A vehicle was reported damaged with paint on the 200 block of Terrie Drive between 7:00pm Oct. 30 and 10:00am Oct. 31.

Property Damage: A vehicle was reported damaged with paint on the 110 block of Regina Drive between 7:00pm Oct. 30 and 10:00am Oct. 31.

Property Damage: A vehicle was reported damaged with paint on the 200 block of Markwood Drive between 7:00pm Oct. 30 and 10:00am Oct. 31.

Robbery: A victim reported being pushed to the ground and having his cell phone taken by an unknown subject on the corner of Greenthorn Avenue and Sterling Boulevard at 8:41 pm Oct. 31.

Larceny: A victim reported watching two men dressed in all black enter her vehicle on Rheims Court at 8:56pm Oct. 31. She confronted the men who ran away. The victim reported the men took her purse.

Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 45500 block of Grand Central Square between 9:30pm Oct. 31 and 7:30am Nov. 1. The car had been left unlocked.

Suspicious Event: An unknown white male in a pick-up truck approached a 7 year-old male on the 20600 block of Glenbrook Trail on Oct. 31. The driver asked the boy if he wanted a ride and opened the passenger door. The boy ran directly home without further incident.

Destruction of Property: The tire of a vehicle was reported damaged on the 45500 block of Grand Central Square between 10:00pm Oct. 31 and 8:00am Nov. 1.

Destruction of Property: The window to a house on the 46900 block of Fairhills Court was reported damaged by a thrown rock between 9:00pm and 10:00pm Oct. 31.

Destruction of Property: A window of a vehicle was reported damaged on the corner of Blossom Drive and Cabin Branch between 8:30pm Oct. 31 and 4:32pm Nov. 1. An IPOD was reported taken from the vehicle.

Vehicle Trespassing: An unknown subject reportedly entered an unlocked vehicle on the 45600 block of Waterloo Station Square between 10:30pm Oct. 31 and 7:00am Nov. 1. Nothing was reported taken.

Larceny: Various items and cash were reported taken from a vehicle on the 22000 Box Car Square between 9:30pm Oct. 31 and 8:00am Nov. 1. The vehicle was left unlocked.

Destruction of Property: A vehicle was reported vandalized with paint on the Thornton Court between 6:00pm Nov. 1 and 1:00pm Nov. 2.

Larceny: An IPOD was reported taken from a vehicle on the 20900 block of Nerine Court between 7:45pm Nov. 2 and 4:56am Nov. 3. The window of the vehicle was damaged.

Larceny: An IPOD was reported taken from a vehicle on the 20800 block of Derrydale Square between 7:00pm Nov. 2 and 9:00am Nov. 3. The window of the vehicle was damaged.

Larceny: An IPOD was reported taken from a vehicle on the 20800 block of Sandstone Square between 7:00pm Nov. 2 and 9:00am Nov. 3. The window of the vehicle was damaged.

Destruction of Property: A vehicle's tires were cut on the 46600 block of Drysdale Terrace between 12:01am and 5:30am Nov. 5.

Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 45400 block of Pine Trail Terrace between 8:00pm Nov. 5 and 12:30pm Nov. 6.

Destruction of Property: A subject reportedly drew a Swastika on a vehicle with possible lipstick on the 45700 block of Smoketree Terrace between 2:00pm and 5:30pm Nov. 7. The vehicle had been entered.

Larceny: A small amount of money, clothing and purses were reported taken from a storage unit on the 45900 block of Old Ox Road at 4:17pm Nov. 8.

Larceny: A purse was reported taken from a vehicle on the 47500 block of Saulty Drive between 9:00pm Nov. 8 and 11:00am Nov. 9.

Larceny: A firearm was reported taken from a residence on the 400 block of East Dartmouth Drive between 5:30pm Nov. 8 and 7:30pm Nov. 8. There was no sign of forced entry into the home.

 

University Station

Larceny: A canoe was removed from a garage on the 44200 block of Riverpoint Drive between 8:00pm Oct. 23 and 8:00am Oct. 25.

Larceny: Sunglasses were reported taken from a vehicle on the 44200 block of Bristow Circle between 7:00pm Oct. 27 and 9:00am Oct. 28.

Larceny: Construction materials were reported taken from a driveway on the 44100 block of Rising Sun Terrace between 5:30pm Oct. 25 and 8:00am Oct. 26.

Destruction of Property: Numerous pumpkins and mailboxes were reported damaged on the 21300 block of Marsh Creek Drive between midnight Oct. 29 and 3:00am Oct. 30.

Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects entered a vehicle on the 43000 block of Brooktown Way between 1:00am and 10:30am Oct. 31. Nothing was reported taken but the vehicle was damaged.

Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects entered a vehicle on the 43000 block of Chesterton Street at 10:30pm Oct. 31. Nothing was reported taken but the vehicle was damaged.

Larceny: Two IPODs were reported taken from a vehicle on the 43200 block of Chokeberry Square between 7:30pm Oct. 30 and 9:00am Oct. 31. The vehicle has been remained unlocked.

Larceny: An IPOD was reported taken from a vehicle on the 20600 block of Southwind Terrace between 1:15am and noon Oct. 31. The vehicle has been remained unlocked.

Larceny: A laptop was removed from a vehicle on the 42900 block of Chesterton Street between 9:00pm Oct. 30 and 7:00pm Oct. 31.

Indecent Exposure: A female reported an unknown male exposing himself on the W&OD Bike Trail at 4:10pm Nov. 2.

Larceny: A bicycle was removed from the front of a residence on the 20200 block of River Ridge Terrace between 2:30pm and 3:50pm Oct. 31.

Larceny: A power drill was reported taken from a construction site on the 22500 block of Leanne Terrace between 1:00pm and 1:45pm Nov. 4.

Indecent Exposure: A walker reported seeing an unknown black male expose himself on the W&OD trail and Claiborne Parkway at 5:05pm Nov. 6. The suspect was described as light skinned, weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds and wearing a black workout shirt with a spider web design on the front with black sweatpants. The incident is possibly related to a case reported on Nov. 2 in the area of Smith Switch Road and the trail.

Destruction of Property: Two vehicles and two mailboxes were reported damaged by spray-paint on the 21300 block of Sorrel Grove Court between 1:00am and 2:00am Nov. 6.

Larceny: A woman reported seeing two juveniles enter a neighbor's garage and remove beer on the 20200 block of Catlett Place at 9:40pm Oct. 6. The subjects fled in a green mini-van.

Gunfire Complaint: A resident reported that unknown subjects discharged a BB gun in their direction from the vehicle on the 19400 block of Sandbridge Way at 8:19pm Nov. 6. The resident was riding a bicycle at the time of the incident. The vehicle was described as a white mini-van with two dark shaped or graphics on the passenger side.

Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21300 block of Fernbrook Court between 7:00pm Nov. 6 and 8:45am Nov. 7.

Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 21500 block of Harvest Green Terrace between 4:00pm Nov. 6 and 9:10am Nov. 7.

Larceny: A GPS unit was reported taken from a vehicle on the 42900 block of Vestry Court between 4:45pm Nov. 6 and 9:31am Nov. 7.

Larceny: Interduct was reported taken from a construction site on the corner of Belmont Ridge Road and Sycolin Road between 12:45pm and 12:52pm Nov. 8. A Ford diesel truck was observed leaving the scene.

 

Dulles South Station

Assault: Deputies responded to a physical altercation in a parking lot on the 42000 block of Village Center Plaza at 7:25pm Oct. 29. The altercation was between two males over a parking spot. Cristin Pulise was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

Property Damage: A mailbox was reported damaged on the 21800 block of Knob Hill Place between 6:00pm Nov. 1 and 7:00am Nov. 2.

Property Damage: A vehicle was reported damaged with paint on the 41900 block of Blue Flag Terrace between 8:30pm Nov. 1 and 7:15am Nov. 2.

Assault: Deputies responded to a reported burglary and assault on the 25200 block of Justice Drive between 8:30am and 8:52am Nov. 4. A 16-year-old female reported hearing a noise and discovered an unknown male in a bedroom. The victim confronted the male and sustained minor injuries possibly from a small knife. Loudoun County Sheriff's Department was called to the resident approximately one-hour after the incident occurred. The suspect was described as a Russian or Middle Eastern male in his late teens to early twenties, 5'7" tall with a thin build. He is further described as having medium length dark hair.

Larceny: Water main pipes were reported taken from a construction site on the 40600 block of Braddock Road at 12:15pm Nov. 8.

Larceny: Two furnaces were reported taken from a construction site on the 42000 block of Donnington Place between 5:30pm Nov. 8 and 11:00am Nov. 9.

Destruction of Property: A window at a residence was reported damaged by a rock on the 36000 block of John Mosby Highway at 11:30pm Nov. 9.
