Sheriff’s Office Plans Sobriety Checkpoint Friday

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint tonight, June 28, and motorists are encouraged to be safe.

“Our goal is to ensure the roads are safe for all motorists,” said Sheriff Mike Chapman. “The checkpoints are designed to discourage impaired driving and we are asking drivers to make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive.”

Members of the Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
