Sketch Released of Suspect in Reported Assault Near Community College

The man approached two students and attempted to hug and kiss at least one of them.

Investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in two reported assault cases on or near Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun campus Oct. 21.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and the NOVA Police are coordinating their investigation, since one incident happened on campus and the other nearby.

The man – described as white, possibly Hispanic, 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7, athletic and wearing a dark T-shirt and striped shorts – reportedly attempted to hug and kiss a female student between 7:20 p.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 21 as she walked from a bus stop along Potomac View Road. That incident was reported to the LCSO, the following morning after the victim learned of a similar incident that occurred shortly before her encounter in the same area.
