The search continues for a suspect in the May 22 assault of a 61-year-old Leesburg woman along the W&OD Trail, and today the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office released a composite sketch of the man.

The incident occurred as the woman was riding her bicycle along the trail with friend a little after 12:30 p.m. that day. Around mile marker 22, the two stopped and were approached by the suspect, who grabbed the victim inappropriately from behind. The woman screamed and the man ran away.

The women described the man as Hispanic, with dark hair and pit marks or acne scars on his face. He wore a brown shirt and black pants with white stripes down the side on the day of the incident.
