State Police Seek Convicted Sex Offender

Leesburg man failed to re-register for online system accessible by the public.

Update: 2:15 p.m. May 23 Suspect turns himself in to authorities.

Law enforcement agencies in Loudoun County are asking residents to provide any information they may have to help locate a Leesburg man wanted for failing to re-register as a violent sex offender.

Anthony Dellmore Norris, 27, is wanted by the Virginia State Police. His last known address was on Davis Avenue in Leesburg and he is known to frequent the Sterling area. Norris is described as 5-foot-4 and weighing about 225 pounds.

The initial conviction that required him to register in State Police’s Sex Offender Registry occurred in 2002. On two subsequent occasions Norris was convicted for failing to register, according to the registry.

Anyone with information about Norris’ whereabouts is asked to contact Trooper J. M. Huntley of the Virginia State Police at 703-771-2533.
