Sterling Man Faces 2 Years for Alleged Abusive Sexual Conduct

The man is accused of inappropriately touching a woman seated next to him during a recent American Airlines flight.

A Sterling man faces a maximum of two years in prison if convicted on charges that he allegedly committed an act of abusive sexual conduct during an April flight from Miami to Reagan National Airport.

Federal agents charged Saurabh Agarwal, 40, of Sterling, with one count of abusive sexual contact, after Agarwal allegedly fondled the breast of a woman who had fallen asleep in the seat next to him, according to information provided by the U.S. Department of Justice. The incident allegedly occurred during an April 10 American Airlines flight.

Agarwal faces a maximum sentence of two years imprisonment, if convicted.
