Sterling Man Robbed at Gunpoint at Holly Ave.

A 52-year-old Sterling man was robbed at gunpoint Saturday by two men who fled the scene on a moped.

A 52-year-old Sterling, VA, man was walking at at the 100 block of E. Holly Ave. when he was approached by two unknown males - one on foot and another riding a moped.

Both suspects brandished a firearm and the suspect on foot demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect took cash from the wallet and fled the scene with the suspect on the moped, according to a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office report.

The incident occurred at 3:45 p.m on Saturday, June 7.

Both suspects were described as Hispanic males. The first suspect is described as being 5’7” tall, 160 pounds, with short black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes at the time of the incident. The second suspect was described as being 5’9” tall, with short black hair and wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes at the time of the incident.
