Suspect Sketch Released in Sterling Stabbing Incident

A sketch has been released of a suspect involved in assault with a broken bottle on Enterprise Street in Sterling June 19. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Investigators released the composite sketch as they continue to seek the suspect.

Inova Fairfax Hospital personnel alerted deputies around 4:45 a.m. June 19 by that a 17-year-old with injuries from an assault had arrived for treatment.

According to a press release from the LCSO, the victim had been walking near the 400 block of Enterprise Street around 2 a.m. with friends when several males confronted the group; a member of that group then assaulted the victim.

The suspect then used a broken beer bottle in an assault that caused serious injuries. The victim’s friends took him Reston Hospital and he was later transferred to Inova Fairfax Hospital. The victim been released from the hospital.

The suspect in the case has been described as a 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-4 Hispanic male in his late 30s to early 40s. Witnesses further described the suspect as about 200 pounds with a muscular build and slight belly. He has short hair, is balding on top and has a large scar under his right eye/cheek area. During the incident, the suspect wore a polo shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident. The suspect may have been driving a green Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck.
