Cedar Lane Elementary School Teacher on Leave After DUI Charge at the School

The nine-year employee of the school system faces additional charges.

A teacher at Cedar Lane Elementary School in Ashburn faces a charge of driving under the influence as well as other alcohol-related charges after his arrest at the school Wednesday morning.

Shortly before 10 a.m., a school employee notified a school resource officer, staffed by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, that another school employee might be intoxicated, according to an LCSO report.

After investigating, the officer charged Gregory A. Wuenschel, 48, of Ranson, WV, with possessing alcohol on school property, driving without a license and DUI.
