Three Arrested, Two Charged After Investigation of Reported Ashburn Car Break-ins

LCSO: The suspects, from Herndon, were found in possession of burglary tools.

Two Herndon men have been charged with larceny and possession of burglarious tools after an arrest in the Ashburn Village community early Wednesday morning. A juvenile was also taken into custody and later released to his parents.

Deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office reported to the area around Ashburn Village Boulevard and Mossy Glen Terrace for reports of people entering cars around 2:23 a.m. Oct. 16. The officers located three suspects, according to an LCSO report.

Two of the suspects were inside of a vehicle, while a third was on foot, according to the report.

Deputies charged David E. Hernandez-Martinez, 18, and Jhonathan O. Borda-Revilla, 18, both of Herndon, with larceny and possession of burglarious tools. Both remain at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond. A third juvenile, whose name cannot be released because of his age, was turned over to his parents.

Investigators recovered several items reported taken from vehicles in the area of Genuine Reward Court and Angel Wing Way, according to the report, as well as two bb guns.

The Virginia State Police assisted with the apprehension of the suspects.
