Three Charged in Possible Drug-Related Robbery

Ashburn teen and two men from Sterling were arrested in Herndon.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies have charged three suspects in connection with a Sterling area robbery reported Jan. 16.

Deputies responded to the 48000 block of Shaw Road around 2:30 p.m. where an 18-year-old male reported that three men – one reportedly armed – in a vehicle robbed him, according to an LCSO report. The victim reported that his smart phone and wallet were taken.

Investigators later determined the robbery took place on Saynamkhan Court and might have been drug-related, according to the report. Personnel with the Herndon Police Department located the suspects’ vehicle in Herndon and took all three into custody.

Jean Bertrand Ehounoud, 20, of Sterling, and Steven D. Fields, 19, of Sterling, were charged with robbery. A 17-year-old male from Ashburn, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, also was charged with robbery.

Ehounoud and Fields were still in custody at Loudoun County Adult Detention Center Thursday night. The 17-year-old is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
