A woman police say was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Manassas on Oct. 12 has been apprehended by police, Manassas City Police spokeswoman Adrienne Helms said.

Officers arrested Sara Nicole Holtz, 24, whose last known address was in Ashburn, on Nov. 14, Helms said.

Holtz is accused of being involved in an incident when the victim's vehicle was struck from behind while stopped at a red light at the intersection of Sudley and Rolling Roads. Both drivers got out of their cars, but the suspect return to her car and drove away before the proper information could be exchanged.
