Witnesses of Crash Near Potomac Run Plaza Sought

Accident involved Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot at Bartholomew Fair and Benedict drives.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies are asking witnesses on a two-vehicle accident that occurred around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the intersection to the east of the Potomac Run Plaza shopping center in Sterling.

A 2004 Honda Odyssey exiting the shopping center attempted to go eastbound on Benedict Drive when a 2004 Honda Pilot traveling northbound on Bartholomew Fair Drive struck the minivan. The impact caused the Odyssey to roll onto its roof. No serious injuries were reported and both drivers declined medical treatment at the scene.

Investigators with the sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Unit seek witnesses who have not yet spoken to law enforcement. Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact DFC D. Lake at 703-737-8307.
