Ashburn residents will need to seek out other local libraries early next week when Cascades Library closes for minor renovations.
The library, located at 21030 Whitfield Pl. in Potomac Falls, will be closed Monday through Wednesday. It will reopen on Aug. 16 with normal hours.
Residents can head to these Loudoun County libraries instead:
- 43316 Hay Rd., Ashburn. (Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday).
- Sterling Library, 120 Enterprise St., Sterling. (Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday).

Several services — including registering for programs, viewing the calendar, renewing materials and using databases — can be done online while the library is closed.
