Loudoun County Republican Committee Convention

At a meeting on May 23, the Loudoun County Republican Committee (LCRC) voted to hold a convention on Saturday, July 23, to choose its nominees for local offices. 

Important Dates are:
Candidate filing deadline: 7:00 pm, Saturday, July 2
Delegate filing deadline: 5:00 pm, Sunday, July 10
Convention:  July 23, registration begins at 8:30 am and the convention convenes at 10 am

The convention will be held at Tuscarora High School for the purpose of nominating Republican candidates for the following offices for the November 8th, 2011 General Election:

County-Wide Offices:  Chairman, Board of Supervisors; Sheriff; Commissioner of the Revenue; Treasurer; and Commonwealth's Attorney;

Election District Offices: Algonkian, Ashburn, Blue Ridge, Broad Run, Catoctin, Dulles, Leesburg, and Sterling;

For your reference, School Board candidates run as non-partisan and are not nominated by a political party.  As we have done in the past, we will hold a process for possible endorsements of candidates for School Board.  This will not occur until after the August 23 filing deadline for School Board candidates with the local Electoral Board.
