Loudoun County Board of Supervisors’ Ashburn Community Outreach Project

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors’ Ashburn Community Outreach Project will hold four fall workshops with interested residents and business owners and operators in October and November 2011.  The purpose of the interactive workshops is to expand on the common trends and themes from the more than 1,600 resident and business surveys received over the summer. The workshops are scheduled for the following dates:

  • Thursday, October 13, 2011, Eagle Ridge Middle School, 42901 Waxpool Road
  • Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Stone Bridge High School, 43100 Hay Road
  • Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Eagle Ridge Middle School, 42901 Waxpool Road
  • Thursday, November 17, at Stone Bridge High School, 43100 Hay Road

All workshops will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

The first two workshops in October will be identical in format. Participants will be asked to develop priorities for the Ashburn Community, based on trends from the completed surveys. The final two identical workshops in November will build on the results of the October workshops by asking participants to finalize priorities and suggested strategies for addressing identified issues in the Ashburn Community.

A preliminary survey results report will be available in early October prior to the workshops. Interested citizens can also stay connected to the project by sending a message to ashburn.outreach@loudoun.gov with a request to be added to the Ashburn Network e-mail list.
