Final Workshop May 2 for Hanson Regional Park

County seeks input about the planned development of the site along Evergreen Mills Road.

The final workshop about the development of the 257-acre Hal & Bernie Hanson Regional Park along Evergreen Mills Road just west of Brambleton is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, in the cafeteria.

Residents have the opportunity to provide input about how they’d like to see the park developed and what amenities it should include. Staff members from the Loudoun Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services as well as the Department of Construction and Waste Management will be on hand along with the firms the county hired to help with the design: Wisnewski Blair Associates of Alexandria and Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. of Reston.

Staff members will include a presentation of three preferred design concepts, based on input from two earlier work sessions, and accept additional input.
