Loudoun Health Check Draft Assessments Available Online for Public Comment

Release, Loudoun County Government:

Members of the public now have the opportunity to review and comment on the latest Loudoun County Health Check public needs assessments before they are finalized. The draft results of the 2013 assessments are online atwww.loudoun.gov/healthcheck.

Loudoun County launched the Loudoun Health Check public health needs assessment process in September 2013.  The process includes four different assessments, including Community Themes and Strengths, Local Public Health System, Forces of Change, and Community Health Status.

“Community input is critical to the success of Loudoun’s public health improvement process,” says Dr. David Goodfriend, Loudoun County Health Department Director. “Our hope is that Loudoun residents and workers will take a few moments to review the surveys and provide their thoughts, comments and concerns so we may improve these documents and, ultimately, our community health improvement plan.”

For more information and to provide comments and other feedback, contact the Health Department at health@loudoun.gov.
