Loudoun Makes Recycling Easy for Special Event

Bins available from the county's waste management department for private use.

Whether preparing for a pool party, sporting event, or community festival, the Loudoun County Department of Construction and Waste Management offers portable indoor and outdoor recycling bins for anyone who wishes to borrow them. No matter what size event you are planning, you are welcome and encouraged to use these free recycling bins. Call 703-777-0187 to make a reservation for the bins, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

By conveniently locating a recycling bin next to each trash can at your event, recyclables and trash will not be tossed together. Also, your guests won’t have to keep asking “Where is your recycling bin?”

Following your event, you may take the recyclables to a nearby public recycling drop-off center. A link to recycling center locations as well as more information about special event recycling and waste management is available at www.loudoun.gov/recycling-events.
