Nonprofit Grant Application Deadline Oct. 2

Organizations wishing to be considered for funding in the county's FY 2014 budget must submit request.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors recently issued its annual call to community organizations for funding consideration during the FY 2014 budget deliberations. Funding opportunities are available to nonprofit organizations that provide services to county residents in designated categories. The amount of funding for FY 14, if any, will be determined next year as part of the county’s adopted fiscal plan.

Eligible group must be tax-exempt, private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that provide services in one or more of the following categories:
• Health and welfare, including emergency health, welfare, emergency food, clothing or shelter, and social services
• Recreation and culture, including arts, culture, and recreation
• Economic development
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Oct. 2.
