PHOTOS: Discovery Moved to Udvar-Hazy

The Space Shuttle Discovery is transferred to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center after the flight from Cape Canaveral atop a 747.

After landing at Tuesday, the Space Shuttle was prepped and hauled over to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's where it will replace of the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

The transfer ceremony on Thursday featured several honored guests, including John Glenn and other Discovery crew members.

On Monday, the Enterprise will be flown to New York atop the same Boeing 747 that carried Discovery to Dulles.
