Residents Weigh in on North-South Highway

Opinions vary depending on business, environmental, transportation interests.

Years in the planning stages, the Virginia Department of Transportation this week held two public input meetings about its Northern Virginia North-South Corridor Master Plan Study, covering an area’s among a dozen state-designated Corridors of Statewide Significance.

The 45-mile corridor generally includes the area east and west of Route 234/Prince William Parkway and the CTB-approved location of the Tri-County Parkway between Route 95 and 50, and connections to the Dulles Greenway and Route 7.

VDOT’s input meetings were in Ashburn and Manassas, and WAMU attended. Check out their report here.
