Ashburn Outreach Workshops Continue at Stone Bridge

Two workshops remain for community to help create a vision for the future of Ashburn.

The next Ashburn Community Outreach workshop is set for tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Stone Bridge High School. The agenda for the meeting as well as results of the Ashburn Community Outreach survey are available online at www.loudoun.gov/ashburn-outreach.

Tonight’s workshop is the second of four for residents and business owners and operators.  The goal is to expand on the input received from more than 1,600 resident and business surveys. The remaining workshops, all of which run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 18, , 43100 Hay Road
  • Thursday, Nov. 10, , 42901 Waxpool Road
  • Thursday, Nov. 17, Stone Bridge High School, 43100 Hay Road

The November workshops will build on information gathered via the community surveys and responses from the October meeting, with the goal of finalizing priorities and suggesting strategies for moving forward.
The county has created Facebook (facebook.com/AshburnOutreach) and Twitter (@AshburnOutreach) pages for those who wish to monitor progress via social media. Anyone wishing to receive information about the project as it progress can send a request to ashburn.outreach@loudoun.gov.
