Volunteer Loudoun Offers Management Training Series

Learn how to plan, recruit, train and supervise a program and its volunteers.

2013 Volunteer Management Training Series Announced

Volunteer Loudoun is offering supervisors and managers of volunteers two opportunities to take the Volunteer Management Training Series in 2013.

  • A winter workshop is set for Feb. 2, March 2 and April 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fall training is set for Sept. 16, 23, and 30 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Training sessions will be held at the Loudoun County Department of Parks Recreation & Community Services in Leesburg.

The nationally recognized training series covers how to plan and evaluate a volunteer program, and how to recruit, place, train and supervise volunteers. The cost is $200, with a discount for additional enrollees from the same organization.
