Phyllis Randall exposes Bishop Jackson's pro-slavery historical revisionism
Phyllis Randall asks how Harvard educated "Christian" minister and candidate for Lieutenant Governor "Bishop" E. W. Jackson can say that it was 1960 social policy, not slavery, that destroyed the black family?

Jackson weaves a narrative that his great parents who were slaves in Orange County, VA were an "intact family." But slaves were not permitted to marry. Jackson's meme is that benevolent slave masters "helped" build black families up. And who are the enemies of the black family? Not institutionalized racism, not Jim Crow, not the war on drugs, not the prison industrial comples, no, the Democrat Party and Planned Parenthood.
Ridiculous!
