Back to School Prayer Walk Saturday

Annual walk planned by Ashburn's Capital Community Church begins at 10 a.m.

, or CCC, has planned its annual Back to School Prayer Walk for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, to pray for the schools, families and surrounding communities to start the school year.

Last year CCC covered almost 60 elementary, middle and high schools and facilities throughout Loudoun County.

Among the topics for which Capital Community pray are:

  • protection for students and staff of each school against all forms of harm
  • strength and wisdom for faculty and staff members
  • a fruitful and productive year for all
  • the strengthening of marriages and families in the surrounding communities
  • restoration of broken homes
