College Fair, Admissions Prep Set at Stone Bridge

College-bound students may want to consider two events coming up soon: the Loudoun County Public Schools College Fair set for Sept. 25 and a program sponsored by the Stone Bridge High School PTSO on Sept. 26 intended to help students prepare for college admissions tests.

The college fair runs in two sessions on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Stone Bridge High School: one from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and another from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th, at Stone Bridge High School.

More than 170 colleges and universities have signed on, as well as representatives from the military. Parents and students can consult with LCPS high school counselors, who will wear red carnations for easy identification.

In the front entrance hall, participants will find information about financial aid as well as other college tips.

Because the college fair is open to the public, parking may be difficult at the high school. Shuttle bus service from Sanders Corner Elementary School, 43100 Ashburn Farm Parkway, will run every 15 minutes while the fair is open.

Then at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, the Stone Bridge PTSO has planned “College Admissions Testing: What You Need to Know,” presented by Revolution Prep, in the school’s auditorium.

LCPS parents and students as well as home-schooled students and their families are invited. Stone Bridge Guidance Director Tim Lucas be available to answer questions.
