150th Anniversary of the Battle of First Manassas - Speaker and Field Trip

The Mosby Heritage Area Association will sponsor a two-part event commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of 1st Manassas (Bull Run) as part of the Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War. John Hennessey, former historian at Manassas National Battlefield Park and noted Civil War historian and author, will speak about the first great battle of the Civil War at a fundraiser on Friday evening and then guide a field trip to the battlefield the next day.
