Blue & Gray in Black & White: Music From the Civil War

Sparky and Rhonda tell the history of the American Civil War in songs and narrative from the perspectives of both the North and South. Sparky is an internationally recognized folklorist, musician, historian, storyteller, and author. He accompanies himself with finger style picking and bottleneck blues guitar, banjo, and spoons. Rhonda sings and is an accomplished harmonica, piano, banjo, and bones player. The program is free and open to the public, recommended for all ages.
