Mobile Retail

The Loudoun Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Loudoun Places, an initiative of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, are sponsoring a program on Mobile Retail at the Rust Library in Leesburg.

Smartphones with mobile applications offer many new ways to attract business. According to money.cnn.com, “mobile payments are expected to hit $214 billion by 2015.” Learn how your retail, hospitality, product or service company can leverage this technology to gain customers and sales. The program, moderated by Marc Willson of the Virginia SBDC, will feature a panel that will include: John McWilliams, CEO, iAppTrust; Salman Haq, Chief Engineer, White Glove Apps; and David Harbour, NOVA Green Media. Best Buy will provide smartphones and tablets for a full hands-on experience.
