St. Gabriel's Taize Service

A contemplative Taize service will be held at St James’ Episcopal Church on Tuesday evening. The service will be led by Rev. CC Schroeder, Vicar of St Gabriel’s Episcopal Church who normally worship at Belmont Ridge Middle School. The idea of a Taize service is to worship in a simplified form without a lot of directives and so allow better communion with God in the silence of our hearts. This kind of service is particularly appropriate during Holy Week but elements can be incorporated into our daily lives, helping us to be aware of God in the chaos that sometimes threatens to overwhelm us.
