School Boundary Meetings Set for Leesburg, Ashburn

The adjustments will impact every high school in Ashburn, plus Tuscarora in Leesburg and Belmont Ridge Middle.

The first of a series of public meetings regarding school boundaries that must be determined for three new schools set to open in Ashburn and Leesburg has been set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday March 7 by the Loudoun County School Board. Tonight’s meeting includes an opportunity for residents to speak. The board intends to adopt the new boundaries April 23.

The boundaries changes accommodate the additions of Trailside Middle School next to Newton-Lee Elementary and the W&OD Trail, an as-yet unnamed high school next to Rosa Lee Carter Elementary in Loudoun Valley Estates, and another unnamed high school planned next Belmont Ridge Middle School in Lansdowne.

Students in Ashburn, Lansdowne and Aldie could be impacted by the changes.
