School Delay Decision from Loudoun County Public Schools

With freezing rain expected during the early-morning commute Friday, Loudoun County Schools have made a decision about school openings on Friday, January 10.

Loudoun County Schools will be opening two hours late on Friday.

From the district:

Loudoun County Public Schools are on a two-hour delay today because of the weather.  Morning Kindergarten and morning pre-school Sessions will begin two (2) hours late and students will remain in school for two hours. These students will leave school one (1) hour later than usual.  Afternoon Kindergarten and afternoon pre-school sessions will begin one (1) hour late and students will remain in school for two hours, dismissing at the regular time.
