School Swap Period Open Through May 15

Those wishing to attend a school other than that assigned can make their request.

Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) students seeking special permission to attend a school other than the one assigned based on their residence may apply now through May 15. The LCPS Department of Pupil Services will issue decision letters no later than June 15.

Here's the full list of schools in the county that do not have sufficient capacity for special permission requests for the 2013-14 school year. Most of them are in Leesburg or Ashburn:

  • Broad Run
  • Dominion
  • Loudoun County
  • Potomac Falls
  • Stone Bridge
  • Tuscarora

Middle Schools

  • Belmont Ridge
  • Farmwell Station
  • J. Michael Lunsford
  • River Bend
  • Stone Hill

Elementary school requests will be reviewed on a grade-by-grade basis.
