Trailside Middle Construction Rolling Forward
The school adjacent to Newton-Lee Elementary is expected to open Fall 2014.
A middle school under construction along Claiborne Parkway next to the
W&OD Trail is one of three schools currently under construction in Ashburn.
Trailside Middle School is expected to open for the 2014-2015 school year, while the two elementary schools under construction – Discovery and Moorefield Station – are slated to open this fall.

Boundaries for the new elementary schools were recently chosen (see attached PDF), but the middle school boundary has not been set. Trailside is within the existing Belmont Ridge Middle School boundary.
The new middle school is directly across the trail from Trailside Park.
