Will Loudoun Schools Be Open or Closed Tuesday? Updates Here
Concerns about freezing forecasts prompt response from school system.
While snow and ice are not in the forecast, Loudoun County Public Schools announced that classes will be canceled Tuesday, Jan. 7 because of unusually cold temperatures.
The school system issued an alert at 4:59 p.m. Monday announcing that "unprecedented predictions of cold weather" were the cause of the closure.
Administrative offices will open on time.
