Briar Woods Softball, Boys Soccer in Region Finals
Both teams play Saturday for regional titles before heading to state competition.
UPDATE: Both games have been postponed until Saturday, June 2.
The softball and boys soccer teams each won their May 31 games and advanced to their respective Region II Championship games. Both teams have also qualified to move on to the state competition.
After beating Fluvanna 4-2, the boys soccer team next plays Tuscarora for the Region II Championship a home today at 6 p.m. This game has been moved to June 2 at 6 p.m.

The softball team beat Fauquier 5-3 and heads to Woodgrove today for a shot at the regional championship at 6 p.m. This game has been moved to June 2 at 5 p.m.
The state competition begins June 5. Locations and times have not been determined.
