Sterling Lion Terry McGowan Invitational Wrestling Tournament

STERLING LIONS HOST THE 33rd EDITION OF THE TERRY  McGOWAN INVITATIONAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

The Sterling Lions Club is proud to host the 33rd Annual Terry McGowan Invitational Wrestling Tournament.  This year’s event will be held at Park View High School on Saturday, December 17, 2011.  The Tournament begins at 9:00 AM in the Park View High School Gymnasium, located at 400 West Laurel Avenue, in Sterling, Virginia. 

Eliven teams from high schools around the region and the North East have already confirmed their participation.  In addition to the host team; the Park View Patriots; there will be ten other teams participating.  These teams are:  Sherando High School, Bishop O'Connell Catholic High School, Woodgrove High School, Loudoun Valley High School, Herndon High School, Potomac Falls High School, W.T.Woodson High School, Falls Church High School, West Potomac High School and Foxcroft Academy from Dover – Froxcroft Maine.  These teams will be competing in 14 weight classes leading to an outstanding full day of High School wrestling excitement.
