Falcons Down Blue Demons for State Title

For second year in a row, the Briar Woods pushes through in the Virginia's Division 4 football championship.

The Briar Woods Falcons Varsity Football team returned home from the AA Division 4 Virginia championship trophy – the teams second state title in two years, marking the beginning of Ashburn's newest football dynasty.

The Falcons knocked of the Christiansburg Blue Demons 28-26 with the defense stopping a two-point conversion late in the game that would tied it up.

Viva Loudoun's Dan Sousa reported on the game from Lynchburg and provides full coverage here.

Congratulations, Falcons!
