FBI, DEA Faceoff Saturday in Hockey for Charity in Ashburn
Bring the family out to see the game and support the DEA's Survivors Benefit Fund
Interested in watching two of the preeminent law enforcement agencies in the world battle for supremacy on the ice in a charity hockey match? Well, you're in luck. Saturday, NOv. 12, the Ashburn Ice House will play host to teams from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration as they battle for bragging rights and to raise funds for the DEA's Survivors Benefit Fund (DEASBF).
The DEASBF is a nonprofit charitable organization that supports the surviving family members of DEA employees and deputized Task Force Officers killed in the line of duty. The fund provides death benefits to affected families within 24 hours to assist with the funeral costs and assists with educational expenses for the dependants of fallen officers.
On the ice, each team is comprised of current employees of each organization, who are charged with protecting the national security and investigating federal crimes when not on the ice. The DEA may have their hands full as the FBI is fresh off an impressive win over the Canadian Embassy team last weekend at the Washington Capitals practice facility.

Saturday's game is set to start at 8:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the , and a $10 donation is recommended to gain entrance. Proceeds will benefit the DEASBF.
