Game On! 2nd Annual Spartan Women's Training Camp
Family members of Broad Run High School football players are welcomed to participate in the second annual Spartan Women's Football Camp on July 30.
Join Spartan mothers, grandmothers, sisters and other family members of Broad Run High School football players for the second annual Spartan Women's Football Camp on July 30.
Hosted by Coach Matt Griffis, the event drew more than 50 Spartan ladies in 2013 and event organizer Nikki Harmon hopes to draw an even bigger crowd this year.
Participants of all skill levels will go over the basics of how to play and run drills before playing in a scrimmage, followed by dinner. Players are encouraged to arrive at 4:45 for the event, which takes place from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
Register by July 7 to receive a complimentary T-shirt. TITLE Boxing Club at Loudoun Station is offering participants two weeks of unlimited conditioning for $20 to prepare for the event.
All proceeds will benefit the Broad River High School football program.
