Opening Day for Little Leagues Saturday
Youth baseball leagues in Sterling and Ashburn kick off their seasons with parades this weekend.
Both the Dulles Little League and the Lower Loudoun Little League are set for Opening Day Saturday, April 20.
Dulles Little League, which serves most Ashburn players, scheduled its parade at 10 a.m.; it runs from St. Theresa Catholic Church to Crittenden Memorial Park. Lower Loudoun Little League, which serves Sterling, has set its parade for 8:45 a.m.; it runs from Park View High School to Jeff Cobb Field.
