This week, Ashburn Patch sports features a photo rewind of Briar Woods' varsity basketball games Monday night against Park View. The girls and boys Falcons walked away with victories over the Patriots. The boys won a hard-fought scrum 71-64, while the girls ran away with a 57-34 drubbing of Park View.

Junior Myles Tate provided the highlight of the evening with his 1,000th career point.

Chuck Moore caught both games and snapped these great shots. Check back tomorrow for a recap of this week's basketball action, including tonight's showdown between Broad Run and the defending state champion Potomac Falls Panthers.
