Regional Travel Soccer Team Wins Annandale Premier Cup

The BRYC Elite completed its fall season with 18 wins, two ties, one loss; defeated teams from other states in cup.

Fairfax, Va. (Dec. 4) — The BRYC '98 Elite, a U13 girls travel soccer team from the Braddock Road Youth Club in Fairfax County, VA, completed another remarkable season by winning the Annandale Premier Cup this weekend, beating top-ranked teams from Maryland (Baltimore Bays Chelsea and Patuxent Speed), Massachusetts (New England Football Club - South Shore), and Pennsylvania (West Chester United Predators) in four shutout victories. Over the course of the 2011 fall season, BRYC won two of three tournaments entered and was undefeated in the Virginia Club Champions League (VCCL - North). Overall, the team registered 18 wins, two ties, and one loss. The team is currently ranked No. 1 in Virginia by both soccerincollege.com and gotsoccer.com.

Players on the BRYC Elite roster represent various communities in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Montgomery counties, including Annandale, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Chevy Chase, Clifton, Fairfax, Gainesville, Herndon, Manassas, Springfield, and Vienna.
